Preparation of the ToR: Develop a detailed ToR for the NREPAP 2.0, including methodology, current policy review, regulatory framework revision, market and technology assessment, and stakeholder engagement.
Report Development: Prepare both draft and final versions of the NREPAP, encompassing strategies, action plans, capacity targets, and monitoring mechanisms.
Stakeholder Engagement: Identify and advise on relevant stakeholders, including government bodies, industry players, and financing institutions. The advisor will also assist in conducting Request for Quotations (RFQs), market surveys, and tender exercises as needed. The assignment is expected to span three months, starting from the Letter of Acceptance signing date.
SEDA Malaysia is seeking a qualified advisor with substantial experience in renewable energy technologies, policy analysis, and project management. Candidates must be Malaysian citizens with relevant academic qualifications and a proven track record in the energy sector.
The new NREPAP 2.0 is anticipated to address current challenges such as low renewable energy penetration and governance issues, while driving investment and economic growth in Malaysia’s renewable energy sector. |
