On the morning of August 8, 2024, under the scorching sun, all LEAPTING colleagues and distinguished guests gathered to celebrate the grand opening of the LEAPTING Technology Huzhou Factory! The event was a spectacular affair, with a red carpet, beautiful floral arrangements, lively conversations, and a bustling atmosphere.
This factory, LEAPTING Technology’s first self-built facility since its inception, is located in the South Taihu New District of Huzhou. It introduces advanced equipment and local talent, continuing to deepen its presence and expand its footprint in the photovoltaic intelligent sector by adding new vigor to the creation of unmanned intelligent equipment.
The LEAPTING Technology Huzhou Factory spans over 5,000 square meters and is equipped with state-of-the-art automated, digital production lines and intelligent manufacturing technologies. It features highly automated smart production lines for product assembly, complete machine testing, finished product packaging, and accessory production, significantly enhancing production efficiency. Currently, the Huzhou factory has completed the installation and commissioning of all production lines.
Once operational, it is expected to produce 20,000 units of the G1 Automatic Cleaning Robot and over 200 units of the G2 Automatic Navigation Vehicle-Mounted Cleaning Robot annually, with a combined annual production capacity of cleaning robots reaching 5GW (gigawatts). Additionally, the factory will also produce 100 Automatic Navigation PV Module Mounting Robot and 200 Solar Project Inspection Robot for power stations annually! By 2025, the annual production capacity is expected to double!
At the opening ceremony, Qi Binbin, Deputy Secretary of the Party Working Committee and Executive Deputy Director of the Administrative Committee of the South Taihu New District in Huzhou, and Li Zhanqiang, Chairman of the Huzhou Talent Development Group Co., Ltd., delivered heartfelt speeches.
Director Qi expressed that the South Taihu New District of Huzhou will fully support the development of Huzhou LEAPTING Technology Co., Ltd., providing all necessary support and resources to help the company achieve even greater success in the future.

Zhang Xiaoming, head of product solutions of Longi Green Energy Technology Co., Ltd., expressed his deep blessings for the completion and commissioning of LEAPTING Technology Huzhou Factory, and highly recognized the unique advantages of LEAPTING Technology unmanned intelligent robots applying in the full life cycle of photovoltaic power plants. He believed that as the two parties continue to deepen their strong cooperation, they will surely achieve fruitful results beyond expectations in the future.
Shen Yi, Vice President of Harbin Institute of Technology, remarked that Mr. Bruce Wang, the founder of LEAPTING Technology and an excellent graduate of HIT, has exemplified the diligent and hardworking spirit of HIT students by staying deeply rooted in the photovoltaic field for many years and applying HIT’s advanced robotics technology to the solar energy sector.
