PNN 73016
Work Detail Adif will invest 64 million euros in maintenance services for traffic control facilities and complementary systems on the Torrejón de Velasco-Valencia and Albacete-Albacete Bifurcation sections of the Madrid-Levante High Speed ??Line (HSL). The tendered work includes preventive and corrective maintenance operations on signalling installations, train protection systems, fixed telecommunications and protection and safety systems. These activities contribute to maintaining these strategic sections of the high-speed railway network at optimum levels of availability, efficiency and functionality. The facilities included in these services include devices and key elements in the management of railway traffic: electronic interlocking (which controls the operation of elements located on the track, such as signals, switches, etc.); track circuits and axle counters (which detect the presence of trains on a given section of track). They also include Centralised Traffic Control (CTC); ERTMS and ASFA systems; energy systems; fixed telecommunications; falling object and hot box detectors; and remote energy control, among others. The activities will be carried out from the maintenance centres in Valdemoro, Tarancón, Cuenca, Iniesta, Requena, Valencia and Albacete. Adif already provides maintenance services for signalling installations, train protection systems, fixed telecommunications and protection and security systems for the Madrid-Levante high-speed line between Chamartín and Torrejón de Velasco, the section that connects the high-speed corridors that link the north and south of the country. These operations are carried out from the Madrid-Atocha maintenance centre. These actions contribute to the achievement of Sustainable Development Goal (SDG) 9 (Industry, Innovation and Infrastructure), which includes among its goals the development of reliable, sustainable, resilient and quality infrastructures.
