At the same time as the announcement of the creation of Industrial Park 2, the Municipality of General Pueyrredon is also taking steps to complete a long-awaited project, with the construction of a first aid room.
Within the framework of Tender 21/2024, the Municipality received two offers for the first stage of the project to provide new community facilities to the General Savio Industrial Park, which in this case includes a first aid room with a nursing area, waiting room, toilets, office and ambulance area, with a covered area of ??70 m2. It will be implemented in an area delimited by streets 1, 4, 3 and 8.
The bids were submitted by Industria Argentina de Cemento y Construcciones SA, with a budget of $138.4 million, and by Rocma SRL, with a budget of $186.3 million. The financing is provided by the Buenos Aires government, within the framework of the Provincial Program for the Development of Industrial Clusters “ArriBA Parques”, with an agreement signed in 2023 between the Municipality and the Ministry of Production.
Initially, both offers meet the formal requirements, although they will now be studied in detail by the Permanent Commission for the Study of Offers, with a view to awarding the contract.
With the implementation of this work "it will be possible to respond to the requirements of around 4,000 people who carry out their activities daily in the Industrial Park and with the multipurpose room", who will be able to have a common-use space in which to carry out activities and support industrial production.
Meanwhile, the entire project is reaching a second stage, where a multipurpose hall will be built that will host different activities, which will generate an accessible outdoor route for all users. For its completion, a new agreement will be needed for its financing. |
