H.G. Infra Engineering saw its shares rise by 3.75% to Rs 1,702.60 following the announcement that it has been declared the L-1 bidder by the Ministry of Road Transport and Highways (MORTH) for a Rs 763.11 crore project.
The project involves the improvement and upgradation of a 2-lane stretch of NH 227B, known as the "84 Kosi Parikrama Marg," from Bahuvan Madar Majha to Jagarnathpur in Uttar Pradesh. This work will be carried out under the Hybrid Annuity Mode (HAM) and is expected to be completed within 2 years.
MORTHs estimated project cost was Rs 898.5 crore, while H.G. Infras bid was Rs 763.11 crore.
