Work Detail UK-headquartered AIS has secured multiple contracts to supply a comprehensive range of subsea ancillary solutions on a “major” deepwater oil field development located in the Santos Basin, off the coast of Brazil. The contracts are from several engineering, procurement, construction, and installation (EPCI) and original equipment manufacturer (OEM) companies. The contracts involve providing various critical subsea components, including installation buoyancy, distributed buoyancy, bend stiffeners, thermal insulation, holdback clamps, spool and jumper buoyancy, and sling buoyancy. According to AIS, these components are essential for the safety, efficiency, and longevity of subsea infrastructure in challenging environments. “We have long been recognised for our exceptional capabilities in the subsea sector. Our commitment to innovation, quality, and reliability makes us the preferred choice for major EPCI and OEM companies undertaking complex deepwater projects,” said John Drury, Chief Commercial Officer at AIS. “With these new contracts, we reaffirm our position as a leader in subsea solutions by offering a comprehensive and field-proven product range that meets the diverse needs of our customers.” To expand its range of subsea offerings, in November 2022, AIS acquired CRP Subsea as part of its growth strategy. CRP Subsea, formerly Trelleborg Offshore UK, delivers polymer and syntactic foam-based buoyancy and protection products for the offshore renewables and oil & gas industries.
