Australia’s Shelf Subsea has entered into a long-term charter with Singapore-based Jumeirah Offshore for the diving support vessel (DSV) Oriental Dragon.
The charter is for five years effective towards the end of this year following the vessel’s current obligations.
The vessel is an ST-246 Skipsteknisk designed, 124m DP3, saturation diving construction support vessel, specially designed for operations in the most challenging environmental conditions.
It comes with an integrated twin bell 24-man Drass saturation diving system, ROV hangers, a 900 sq m deck, a 250-tonne AHC main crane, a 30-tonne secondary crane, anti-heeling and roll systems as well as accommodation for 120 passengers. |
