Remodeling of the Intensive Care Unit A, located on the 2nd floor of the General Acute Hospital “Dr. Juan A. Fernández”, located at Av. Cerviño 3356 in the Autonomous City of Buenos Aires, in order to respond to the requirements raised by
the medical authorities of said entity.
The intervention includes the remodeling of the current Intensive Care Unit, including the current air conditioning machine room in the intervention area and whose equipment will have to be moved according to the guidelines of the
work inspection and the remodeling of a premises in front of the Therapy for its use as an Equipment Storage.
THE TOTAL SURFACE OF INTERVENTION IS 346 m2, to be executed in a
single stage of work.
The Intensive Care service currently has 10 rooms and support premises. The
remodeling project of the unit includes a refunctionalization and standardization
of the service covering the following areas:
· Individual rooms with capacity for 10 beds, two of which are
intended for isolated patients (with a shared anteroom). The necessary installation for dialysis stations will be
planned in all rooms,
as well as the corresponding cables for CCTV cameras and for a
centralized monitoring system with a terminal in the Nursing area.
· Nursing Station with Clean Office and Used Office, Washing for Sterilization, Clean Clothes Storage and Dirty Clothes Storage,
Equipment Storage, Chatero, Pharmacy, Supplies Storage, Common Waste and
Board Room.
· Staff area consisting of Medical Staff Office, with rest area with 2 beds and a full bathroom; Nursing Office
