Work Detail |
The Ministry of Public Works, through the Provincial Roads Department, opened bids to carry out repair work on 58 sections of roads, simultaneously and independently, given the extension of the areas to be covered by six departments. In total, more than 1,000 kilometers will be repaired in the departments of La Capital, Rosario, San Lorenzo, Iriondo, San Jerónimo and Las Colonias.
Among the sections awarded for this type of interventions are the RP 10 between Nuevo Torino and Highway 19; as well as sections of Route 6 - which is part of the Road Corridor No. 9, in which the municipality of Rafaela participates -, mainly between Franck and Gessler and between this town and the route that connects Gálvez with Coronda.
The event was headed by the provincial administrator of Roads, Pablo Seghezzo, together with the deputy administrator of the Northern Zone, Sergio Cardozo; the deputy administrator of the Southern Zone, Benjamín Gianetti; and the senator for the Iriondo department, Hugo Rasetto.
Seghezzo gave a presentation on the arrangements to be made in the different provincial road corridors, and explained that a corrective texturing of crests and edge deformations, reconstructions, repair of the structural package, milling and execution of micro-folding in different sections will be carried out.
PATCHWORKS
Province opens tender for almost 4 billion to patch roads in the region
In this regard, Seghezzo said: “As Minister Lisandro Enrico has been showing, since the first day of Governor Maximiliano Pullaros administration, the state of our roads and highways became a priority, because they were totally destroyed.” “When we took over the administration - he described - we found a high percentage of roads in poor condition and others that were absolutely impassable. Faced with this scenario, and with a lot still to be fixed, we decided to carry out temporary road repairs, which at least allow for better circulation. At the same time, we are putting out to tender different road repaving works every month,” he said.
“With the entire Provincial Roads team, since the beginning of the administration, we have focused on activating repairs on the most compromised provincial roads. Today we are bidding for new works on more than 1,000 kilometers of repairs on 58 sections of roads in six departments of the province: La Capital, Rosario, San Lorenzo, Iriondo, San Jerónimo and Las Colonias,” the administrator said.
Finally, Seghezzo also added that the provincial government continues to insist that the Nation immediately carry out maintenance work on routes such as 178, 11 and 33, among others. The official also stressed that the provincial government, despite the crisis that is going through at the country level, on more than one occasion “has made itself available to the National Government to take charge of the maintenance of those national routes that make it possible to transport to the port areas. This makes clear, once again, the responsible position that the Government of Santa Fe has adopted to carry out with its own resources different maintenance works on national routes that are traveled by thousands of people every day.”
