CEPM is promoting the FV3 Bávaro solar park, whose storage station is, it claims, “the largest in the Central American and Caribbean region.” CEPM, the Punta Cana Macao Energy Consortium in the Dominican Republic, is promoting the FV3 Bávaro solar park, which has a battery storage capacity (BEES) exceeding 40 MWh, “the largest in the Central American and Caribbean region.” The solar power is 24.54 MWp, and it has 37,344 solar panels, 66 330 kW String inverters, 20 LFP battery containers, 60 200 kW bidirectional converter stations and 2 6.8 MW smart transformer stations. According to its promoters, “one of the main attributes of the energy storage system of this solar park is that it provides photovoltaic firmness services during the day and energy arbitration during periods of high demand to the CEPM electrical grid, which facilitates constant stability of the service.” |
