Haryana-based Systrome Technologies, specializing in advanced telecom equipment design and manufacturing, has inaugurated its new electronics manufacturing facility in Thiruvananthapuram. The facility, established with an investment of ?100 crore, aims to bolster innovation and excellence in electronics manufacturing aligned with the ‘Atma Nirbhar Bharat’ initiative, according to a spokesperson. P. Raja Manickam, founder of Bengaluru-based semiconductor solutions company Tessolve and former CEO of Tata Electronics (OSAT unit), officially opened the facility at a ceremony held at the Kinfra Film and Video Park in suburban Kazhakoottam. The inauguration was attended by Santhosh Koshy Thomas, Managing Director of Kerala Industrial Infrastructure Development Corporation (Kinfra), and S. Harikishore, Director - Industries and Commerce, Kerala. The spokesperson highlighted the advantageous location of the facility, offering excellent connectivity via road, rail, air, and waterways. Systrome Technologies will specialize in the production of high-quality telecom and networking products to meet the evolving demands of both domestic and international telecom infrastructure sectors, promising to create significant employment opportunities in the process. Anil Raj, Managing Director of Systrome Technologies, described the facility as ultra-modern and sophisticated, positioning Kerala as a hub for high-tech manufacturing. He emphasized that the new unit is expected to quadruple the company’s production of intricate electronic products within a year, contributing to job creation and economic growth in the region. |
