This launch introduces significant improvements in comfort and efficiency, with advanced operating controls and automation features that optimize performance and reduce maintenance costs.
John Deere introduces the new P-Series motor grader, which incorporates innovations and technologies that strengthen its position in the market. It maintains the features and options of the G series and adds functionalities that promise to optimize productivity and efficiency of operations.
This is the case with improvements designed to make work easier and increase operator comfort, such as the new joystick and mini-lever operating controls, which translate into reduced operator fatigue and smoother operation. Integrated into the seat, these controls allow for greater comfort, as they facilitate blade positioning and equipment steering with the push of a button.

In addition, the John Deere P-Version motor grader incorporates six advanced automation features, allowing it to improve operator productivity and efficiency.
These include Cross-slope, a system that automatically adjusts the blade pitch, while Auto-articulation aligns the front and rear direction with a single button.
Damage protection prevents blade contact with other parts of the machine, reducing repair costs. Auto-pass automatically adjusts blade height for the start or end of the grading cut.
While the blade mirror automatically maintains its preset angle, the pre-set allows various functions and positions of the machine to be activated at the push of a button to optimize operating time.
“These features not only improve the accuracy and efficiency of operations, but also significantly reduce the need for manual interventions, thereby increasing productivity,” said Raphael Silva, Tactical Marketing Expert for Latin America at John Deere.
Easy and low-cost maintenance
One of the key value propositions of the new motor grader is the ease of maintenance and the low associated costs. The Premium Circle, an exclusive John Deere innovation, is a fully sealed gear that eliminates the need to change worn inserts and adjust the circle position.
“This technology, similar to that used in excavators, requires greasing only every 500 hours of operation. This significantly reduces the costs of spare parts, labor and downtime, providing greater efficiency and savings to customers,” Silva explained.
“Another feature that is maintained in the P version are the wet-jacket engines, which also facilitate maintenance and reduce associated costs. They are designed to be more durable and efficient in order to minimize the need for costly repairs and, consequently, prolong the useful life of the machine,” added the Tactical Marketing expert for Latin America at John Deere.

Key differences from other models
The John Deere Version P motor grader retains the Powershift EBS transmission, known for its ability to sense operating demands and suggest the best gear for each situation.
Meanwhile, the new Autoshift Plus transmission provides fully automatic operation by allowing gear changes from first to eighth without human intervention. This improvement simplifies operation and ensures optimal performance in all working conditions.
Another exclusive feature is the Differential Unlocking System that is automatically activated based on the articulation angle and wheels of the equipment, eliminating the need for manual unlocking by the operator. This not only makes operation easier, but also increases the life of the motor graders tandem tracks and differential.
With the launch of the Version P motor grader, John Deere aims to reaffirm its commitment to innovation and continuous improvement of its products, with advanced solutions that benefit both operators and owners and ensure efficiency, productivity and low maintenance costs. |
