Under the esteemed patronage of H.E. the Minister of Energy and Mineral Resources, Dr. Saleh Al-Kharabsheh, who also serves as Chairman of the Board of Directors of the Renewable Energy and Energy Efficiency Fund (JREEEF), a significant initiative is set to commence. Tomorrow, on Tuesday, 11th June, a signing ceremony will mark the launch of agreements for implementing energy efficiency technologies in factories. This initiative is a collaboration between JREEEF and the Jordan Chamber of Industry, represented by its President, Engineer Fathi Al-Jaghbir. The ceremony will witness the signing of 60 agreements with participating industrial establishments, who are beneficiaries of grants and services provided by the Renewable Energy and Energy Conservation Fund. The program includes comprehensive technical support from a team of specialized experts, offered free of charge. This launch is particularly momentous as it aligns with Jordan’s Silver Jubilee celebrations, aiming to strengthen cooperation among stakeholders dedicated to enhancing industrial facility efficiency. The initiative underscores Jordan’s commitment to sustainable development and innovation, advancing towards a greener future. The ceremony will be attended by representatives from the chambers of industry across Jordan’s governorates, as well as the nine energy auditing companies approved by the Ministry of Energy and Mineral Resources. Industrial establishments that have previously benefited from similar programs and achieved notable success stories will also participate, sharing their experiences and insights.
