| Work Detail | In order to allow full vehicle, bicycle and pedestrian access during the 2016 New Mexico State Fair, no Water Authority construction will take place on Central Ave. between Sycamore and Stanford starting on Sept. 3 through the duration of the Fair. All barricades will be picked up, and areas of roadway or sidewalk that have been disturbed will be covered with permanent or temporary asphalt—with the exception of the open excavation at the northeast corner of University and Central. Crews intend to return to this area beginning Monday, Sept. 26 to continue construction. The Water Authority is replacing and realigning old water lines that are in conflict with the ART (Albuquerque Rapid Transit) Project. |
