The Himachal Pradesh Power Corporation Limited (HPPCL) has announced an invitation for online bids from eligible and qualified bidders for the design, supply, construction, erection, testing, commissioning, and operation and maintenance of a 6 MW (AC) solar power project at Tihra Khas I in Una, Himachal Pradesh. The project, encompassing a comprehensive scope of work, aims to bolster the state’s renewable energy capacity. The tender process follows a Single Stage Two Envelope system, comprising a Technical Bid (Envelope-I) and a Price Bid (Envelope-II), with an additional e-Reverse Auction phase. Open national competitive bidding will be employed to procure the necessary facilities, adhering to the procedures specified in the bidding documents. The competition is open to all eligible and qualified bidders, including foreign participants. Key details of the bidding process include a bid security (earnest money deposit) requirement of INR 66 lakhs. The tender document, priced at INR 10,000 (inclusive of GST), will be available for purchase starting from 20th June 2024 at 1400 hours. The deadline for downloading the tender documents is set for 20th July 2024, up to 1300 hours, with bid submissions due by 1400 hours on the same day. The technical bids will be opened at 1500 hours on 20th July 2024, while the schedule for opening the financial bids and conducting the e-Reverse Auction will be communicated at a later date.
