Houston-based Oceaneering International has won a contract for the supply of umbilicals worth $50m with an undisclosed domestic independent energy company.
The contract was secured by Oceaneering’s manufactured products segment. Under the contract, the company will supply an electro-hydraulic, steel tube dynamic umbilical totalling approximately 27 km in length for a project in the Gulf of Mexico.
Manufacturing is scheduled for the Panama City, Florida, facility and will begin in 2025 with final delivery expected in the second quarter of 2026.
Earlier this month, the company secured another important contract. Oceaneering secured two contracts with Brazil’s Petrobras that are expected to deliver net revenue in the range between $120m to $183m.
The New York-listed firm will supply up to 362 km of steel tube and thermoplastic electro-hydraulic umbilicals and associated subsea distribution hardware for use in projects offshore Brazil. Final delivery is expected in the fourth quarter of 2027. |
