At the Ray Go Solar – Mydin Green Energy Launch and Handover Ceremony today, Dato’ Ray Tan, CEO of Ray Go Solar Holdings Berhad, emphasized that the successful launch of the solar energy system at Mydin Mall Bertam represents not only a business collaboration but also a crucial step towards advancing green energy and protecting the planet.
Speaking at the event, Dato’ Ray Tan credited the success of the project to the dedication of the Ray Go Solar team and the support of advanced solar technology. He noted that the project, which took nearly a month to complete, uses solar energy technology from the United States. This technology enhances energy efficiency, reduces reliance on traditional energy sources, lowers carbon emissions, and contributes to a sustainable future.
Dato’ Ray Tan expressed optimism about future collaborations with Mydin Northern Region Malaysia, highlighting the potential for further joint efforts to promote green energy and make positive contributions to society and the environment. “We are well aware that future energy development will increasingly rely on green and renewable energy, and we are part of the movement towards this change,” he said.
He extended special thanks to Mydin Northern Region Malaysia for their trust and cooperation, which were essential for the smooth completion of the project. He also praised his team for their hard work and dedication.
Reiterating the company’s vision of “Sustaining the world with green energy” and its mission to be a world-class Solar EPC company, Dato’ Ray Tan emphasized that these are deeply held beliefs at Ray Go Solar. He expressed hope for continued partnership to further the development of green energy and contribute to society and the environment. “I believe that as long as we persevere, the future will be brighter,” he stated.
The event aligns with the Penang 2030 Vision, an initiative by the Penang State Government aimed at achieving a “Family-Focused, Green, and Smart State that Inspires the Nation.” Clean energy is a vital component of Penang’s sustainable development goals, as highlighted by Penang Chief Minister YAB Tuan Chow Kon Yeow during the ceremony.
