The Central Electricity Board (CEB) has announced an open invitation for bids from eligible International Consultancy Firms or Consultancy Firms of Mauritian Nationals for Consultancy Services to act as Independent Engineer in the Implementation of a 15MWac Photovoltaic Farm. This initiative, authorized under Section 16 of the Public Procurement Act 2006, aims to enhance the country’s renewable energy capacity.
The bid document, accessible free of charge on the CEB’s official website, outlines detailed requirements and submission procedures. Interested parties are required to submit their proposals clearly marked with the procurement reference number OAB-CPR-2024-6011 by Wednesday, 22 May 2024, at 13:30hrs (Mauritian Time). Submissions can be made via the designated Tender Box at the CEB office in Curepipe or through registered post or Courier Service.
Bids will be opened publicly on the same day, 22 May 2024, starting at 13:45hrs (Mauritian Time) at the Conference Room, 3rd Floor (New Building), CEB Office, Royal Road, Curepipe. The process ensures transparency and allows bidders or their representatives to attend.
