LONGi, the world’s largest PV manufacturer, made a notable appearance as a sponsor at the Solar & Storage LIVE MENA exhibition, one of Egypt’s most prominent events. The exhibition, held at the Egypt International Exhibition Center in Cairo on May 29th and 30th, 2024, attracted 150 exhibitors from various countries and over 5,000 visitors. During the event, LONGi launched its latest product family, the Hi-MO X6 Max, providing a valuable opportunity to share this innovation with numerous PV experts in attendance. LONGi’s MENA team organized training sessions for their product launch and showcased this new technology at their booth, highlighting how the update enhances module power capacity and efficiency.
The Hi-MO X6 Max series addresses the needs of PV customers in Distributed Solar Energy Generation. Utilizing TaiRay Inside and HPBC cell technology, these modules offer unparalleled stability, reliability, and power generation efficiency. As the industry transitions to standardized module and cell sizes, LONGi has adopted rectangular silicon wafers measuring 182.2 x 191.6mm, aligning their wafer and module sizes with industry standards.
Tengda, General Manager of LONGi MENA, stated, “Hi-MO X6 Max is an improved version of our Hi-MO X6, incorporating HPBC cell and TaiRay technology. Its size has been standardized to match the PV industry’s development, offering a product that meets DG customers’ needs and provides superior benefits.”

Our products are designed for specific application scenarios, and with the increasing demand for high-power modules, we introduced the Hi-MO X6 Max, achieving 630W with efficiency exceeding 23.3%.”

To encourage clean and sustainable practices, the LONGi MENA team launched a recycling campaign at their booth, collecting plastic bottles and cans during the exhibition, an initiative that was well-received by many visitors. |
