NTPC Vidyut Vyapar Nigam Limited (NVVN), a wholly owned subsidiary of NTPC Limited, has announced a call for online bids for the implementation of a 1.562 MW grid-connected rooftop solar power project. The project is set to be installed on the rooftops of various buildings under the Indian Council of Medical Research (ICMR) and other government facilities across Telangana.
The bidding process will follow a ‘Single Stage Two Envelope’ system, comprising Envelope-I for the Techno-Commercial Bid and Envelope-II for the Price Bid. The Solar PV installations are to be optimized for shadow-free areas to maximize power generation. The final capacity of each plant will be determined based on detailed engineering and approved designs specific to each building’s rooftop.
The project includes the installation of permanent MS staircases or ladders with a minimum width of 1.0 meter, finished with primer and weather-resistant enamel paint for roof access, wherever such access is not already available.
The successful bidder will be responsible for all aspects of the project, including design, engineering, and testing, as well as ongoing operations and maintenance for a period of 10 years. This includes preliminary visual assessments of rooftops, water and electricity arrangements, and security measures.
To participate, bidders must submit a bid security of Rs 10,00,000 (Indian Rupees Ten Lakh Only). Additionally, bidders must have an average annual turnover of at least Rs 6,92,02,830 (Indian Rupees Six Crore Ninety-Two Lakhs Two Thousand Eight Hundred and Thirty Only) over the last three financial years.
The deadline for bid submission is June 27, 2024, at 5:00 PM, with the bid opening scheduled for June 28, 2024, at 3:00 PM.
