Central Public Works Department (CPWD) has floated a tender for the construction of a hostel at Indian Institute of Technology (IIT), Indore in Madhya Pradesh. The hostel will come up on plot GH-04 at Simrol, IIT Indore, and major components of the work include RCC framed structure of ground-plus-six storey, civil, electrical-mechanical and horticultural work, and development work around the building. Preliminary works like setting and maintenance of permanent bench marks reference points, central line of the carriageway is also within the scope of work. The contract is valued at Rs 60.25 crore. The duration for carrying out the work is 22 months from the start date. The bid submission due date is 26 June, 2024. |
