In order to improve the connection between the different neighborhoods of Lanús, the Municipality undertakes new works. In this case, at a key access: Avenida 29 de Septiembre.
With an execution period of 270 days and an investment of $74,992,614 million, the implementation of September 29 is already underway. On this access through which thousands of vehicles and different bus lines circulate daily, crews are already working on the construction of asphalt.
THE PROJECT. Complete concrete resurfacing will be carried out between Malabia and Esquiú and reconstruction of concrete pavements between Esquiú and Alfonsín.
In addition, the reorganization of vehicular circulation will be carried out at the intersection of 29 de Septiembre and Malabia avenues, reconstructing Deheza streets between Malabia and Azopardo, and Azopardo between Deheza and 29 de Septiembre. In addition to the removal of the pavement and the construction of the asphalt layer in simple concrete, the cleaning of the drains that run under the avenue and its smaller diameter surroundings that drain sub-basins will be carried out, in addition to the reconstruction of drains and horizontal grates to better water collection. Inspection chambers will also be built.
The enhancement will also include the reconstruction of access ramps for people with mobility disabilities, horizontal signage to delimit lanes, bike lanes and pedestrian paths.
Mariela Casas, a resident of Malabia, highlighted the works: “It is important to improve this street, which is very deteriorated and is a real problem for road circulation.”
