The Provincial Government, through the Ministry of Public Works, carried out the public tender for the construction of new locker rooms and the enclosure of the gymnasium of Primary School No. 161 “Carlos Guido Spano” in the town of Carreras, General López department.
The event took place at the Government headquarters in Rosario, led by the Minister of Public Works, Lisandro Enrico; the senator of the General López department, Leticia Di Gregorio; the Secretary of Public Works and Habitat, Marcelo Pascualón; and the communal president of Carreras, Oscar De Nenne. Among other authorities present were deputy Sofía Galnares; the delegate of the Provincial Government (Nodo Venado Tuerto), Roberto Vergé; and the director of the school itself, Gladis Santrich.
In this sense, Minister Lisandro Enrico said: “The first time I toured the school in 2011, it was the monument to abandonment and that is why we started working to recover this building. Today, despite the difficult economic moment we are going through, we are reversing that situation. Since December 11, 2023, we have undertaken all actions with the school authorities, plus the help of the communal president Armando De Nenne, Senator Leticia Di Gregorio, to reach this important stage, the public bidding for the work with a very good call. of companies.”
And he added that “this is a historic and long-awaited work for the residents of Carreras, something highly anticipated by the entire educational community. We see that Governor Maximiliano Pullaros commitment, as he advanced during the campaign, is being fulfilled and beginning to become a reality. For her part, Senator Di Gregorio expressed that “Governor Maximiliano Pullaro and Minister Lisandro Enrico are carrying out transparent and efficient management in the management of public funds, to reverse the lack of works in many Santa Fe localities. It makes us very happy that after so much postponement, the residents of Carreras know that now it will be possible to have this work completed.”

The project
The works occupy a covered area of ??798 square meters while the complete intervention will be carried out on a total of 1,373 square meters.
