The microenterprise Codorniz Deleitte, located in the Coquimbo region, has installed, thanks to the Put Energy to your Pyme program, of the Ministry of Energy and executed by the Energy Sustainability Agency, a solar system with a 3.2 kW capacity.
The Chilean microenterprise Codorniz Deleitte, located in the town of La Serena, Coquimbo region, covers its electricity consumption due to a photovoltaic system that was financed by the Ponle Energía a Tu Pyme program , of the Ministry of Energy and executed by the Sustainability Agency Energetics.
The system is made up of six solar panels of 3.2 kW capacity, developed by the Enersu company, which allows an approximate saving of 1,750 kWh per year.
In a ministerial statement, it is explained that the project has required an investment of 7.3 million pesos (8.1 thousand dollars).
The Seremi of Energy of Coquimbo, María Castillo Rojas, during a visit to the facility, assured that she is “an entrepreneur in egg production who was the beneficiary of an energy efficiency and renewable energy project, which has allowed her significant savings on her bills. electricity and make a contribution to lower greenhouse gas emissions.”
“The objective of the program is also to take advantage of the netbilling law, which turns them into generators of energy to the grid and receive a discount,” the official added.
The beneficiary of the program, Jenny Gahona, indicated that Codorniz Deleitte is a hatchery with 20 years of experience. “We use a lot of electrical energy for the incubation processes to provide the best welfare for our birds, and that is what motivated us to apply to reduce energy costs,” she said.
“The experience has been very good, it allows us to save on energy issues and also, since we have batteries, in case of a power outage, we can continue with the processes,” added Gahona.
According to the information, in the Coquimbo Region, the Ponle Energía a tu Pyme program has delivered nearly 326 million pesos (3.6 million dollars) to finance 29 energy solutions, especially renewable energy systems and safety measures. energy efficiency, to different companies and microenterprises in the agricultural, tourism, hotel, communication, industrial, commercial sectors, among others. |
