Singareni Collieries Company (SCCO, a coal mining company owned by the Government of Telangana and the Government of India, has invited bids for a grid-connected battery energy storage system (BESS) of IMW/2.50 MWh ot the 28 MW solar power project in Mancherial district Telangana.
The last date for the submission of bids is June 18,2024. Bids will be opened on the same day.
The scope of the work includes designing, engineering, supplying, packing and forwarding, transportation, unloading, storage, installation, and testing. The successful bidder must operate and maintain the project for
ten years.
The main objective of the BESS is to store the inadvertent units being transmitted to the Transmission Corporation of Telangana (ISIRANSCO) grid from the solar project. The stored power is then discharged to the SCCL grid ot a specified time.
Inadvertent energy units are defined as the additional energy units generated by the solar plant that exceed SCCLs load requirement at any given time and are exported to the TSTRANSCO grid without being
accounted for.
The approximate value of the project is 550 million (-$602,004).
Bidders must submit an earnest money deposit (EMD) of 5500,000 (-$6,020).
Within one month from receipt of the letter of intent, the successful bidder should submit a performance bank guarantee showing proof of net worth of 550 billion (-$602 million) and above for the previous financial year.
Bidders must pay an e-procurement transaction fee of 0.03% of their quoted value (based on landed cost) plus 18% GST on the transaction fee. |
