The Provincial Road Directorate, through Zone V of Concordia, continues with the maintenance, profiling and reconstruction tasks of rural roads in that department. Within this framework, work is carried out on provincial routes, access to different locations and local roads.
Patching tasks are being carried out on provincial route No. 4, in order to allow better passability for daily users of this communication route. The works were carried out jointly with the Los Charrúas municipality, which collaborated with a truck and a backhoe to transport the material used.
Meanwhile, in the access area to Colonia Ayuí from national route N°A015, the zone carried out profiling work, cleaning shoulders, gutters, drains and covering wells.
In addition, on the La Virgen road (Puerto Yeruá – Nova Scotia section), tasks are carried out to review and reconstruct different sections, cleaning shoulders, ditches, cleaning near bridges and roads, and forming drains.
Also on the El Pampero road, soil movement works were carried out, lateral extraction to form ditches and shoulders, covering of wells, elevations and route rectification.
On the access road to Yeruá Station – Colonia Los Sauces, in the section from national route No. 14 to Almacén Sauer, road profiling, shoulder cleaning and drainage formation were carried out to improve the runoff and drainage of rainwater towards sewers.
In turn, on provincial route No. 28, the complete profiling of the section between national route No. 14 and Redomón Station was carried out. In addition, cleaning tasks were carried out, shaping shoulders, ditches and replacing natural soil in sections where it was required.
Finally, work is being done on the recovery of the gravel road on the road that goes from Puerto Yerua to Nova Scotia. This area stands out for its mining, forestry and tourism production. The works are carried out in conjunction with the Municipality of Puerto Yerua.
