Governor Rogelio Frigerio was present this Monday at the restart of the rehabilitation work on provincial route 32, in the section between national route 12 to 18. This is the first of many other works that will be progressively restored by the provincial government. The work covers the extension between Crespo and Viale, with immediate start in the most critical section, between Crespo and Seguí. It contemplates the reconstruction and resurfacing of a total length of 39,900 meters. Later, Frigerio explained that the work on Route 32 is being reactivated with provincial resources and that they will ask the national government to also advance with the works that correspond to it, since there are several stops in the province. He also said that no commitments will be made that cannot be fulfilled. He insisted on the need to improve infrastructure, and spoke of routes and roads that are not a danger and a loss of money for producers and transporters. For our children to be educated, they need establishments that do not fall apart, and for our people to be able to take care of their health, they need to be able to receive care in a quality hospital or health center, she said. Then he specified that the debt that the province has with companies amounts to almost 30,000 million pesos. It is a very large debt, but with very good predisposition from the public works contractors in the province, we were able to reach an agreement on the payment mechanism and from there resume the works, he explained. Finally, he pointed out that to define priorities he called on businessmen, the Chamber of Construction, mayors, opposition blocks, civil society and the General Council of Education for a strategic plan for public works. «This strategy has to be a State policy, which is why I want this strategic public works plan for the province to be ratified by the Legislature to become the lighthouse that illuminates public policy decisions linked to infrastructure from now to the next. next 30 or 40 years, he concluded. Precisions about the work For his part, Minister Schneider maintained that all the work in the province is going to be restarted gradually and indicated that it is being done with a sense of absolute responsibility to fulfill these commitments that we are imposing on ourselves at this moment.
