The budget allocated for the work is more than $180 million. The works, which have a completion period of 5 months and began at the beginning of April, include the provision and placement of one-piece concrete tables and benches and “Z” type benches; construction of new childrens games; metal baskets and placement of concrete parapets. The existing games will also be conditioned and repainted; restoration of the sports court (special paint for the floor of beaches and courts, placement of metal arches and rings); construction of new paths and ramps of scraped reinforced concrete (combed), which reduces slips, slips and accidents. In addition, the existing beach will be demolished to build a new, larger one and new forestation will be incorporated. The works were awarded to the contracting company Andrés Arriaga SRL, through public tender No. 15852/23, for an official budget of 185,627,004 pesos. Works through Participatory Budget Within the framework of the 2023 Participatory Budget, various works were carried out in Parque Oeste, which included the creation of a Cuidar Center and improvements and repairs to existing infrastructure. For the creation of the Cuidar Center, infrastructure improvements were carried out in the First and Second Childhood spaces and for the Elderly; masonry, plumbing, electrical work, changing floors and subfloors, and bathroom and changing room arrangements for start-up. In addition, new furniture and equipment were purchased for the new space. |
