From May 20th to 21st, the 2024 Solar & Storage Live Philippines was held in Manila. At this grand event, LONGi made a grand appearance with its latest products Hi-MO 9, the Hi-MO 7 for centralized ground-mounted scenarios, and the Hi-MO X6 Max series tailored for various distributed and complex scenarios.
At the exhibition, LONGi proudly presented its flagship product, the Hi-MO 9, marking its debut in the entire Asia-Pacific region. The Hi-MO 9 is a solar module with capabilities of up to 660W, based on the 2nd generation Hybrid Passivated Back Contact (HPBC) solar cell technology and the TaiRay wafer, an silicon wafer launched by LONGi in March 2024, and the Hi-MO 9 module boasts a conversion efficiency up to 24.43%, built to excel in a range of tough environments , sets new standards in the industry.
At the exhibition, LONGi also unveiled the newly upgraded Hi-MO X6 Max series for 2024. Through continuous technological innovation, the Hi-MO X6 Max has been fully upgraded to the golden size (2382*1134), ensuring high efficiency and quality. Featuring the TaiRay Inside and HPBC high-efficiency cell technology, the Hi-MO X6 Max achieves another technical breakthrough, becoming the optimal choice for performance. The first-year degradation can be reduced to 1%, with a temperature coefficient reduction of 0.28%, and an increase in maximum module efficiency by 0.1%.
Addressing Southeast Asia’s unique high temperature, high humidity, and dust accumulation environments, LONGi introduced its anti-dust solution. The Hi-MO X6 Max’s Anti-dust modules can effectively resist dust accumulation, reducing maintenance frequency and operational costs, while maintaining high efficiency and increasing user power generation gains. Another anti-dust solution is the water drainage and sediment removal clamp, which is ideal for centralized large-scale power station projects or other application scenarios. This clamp can be flexibly installed horizontally or vertically. When rainwater accumulates at the bottom of the modules, the clamp, made from hydrophilic materials, disrupts the water’s surface tension, allowing timely drainage and eliminating water and sediment buildup.
LONGi is committed to promoting the development of green energy and delivering clean energy products and solutions to the Philippine market and intends to invest more resources in expanding its local presence to lay the foundation for long-term service to clients. |
