Work Detail |
European Power Systems (EPS), a UK-based gas turbine maintenance company, has signed a master service agreement (MSA) with London-listed oil and gas company Harbour Energy. The agreement covers work related to the control systems on a fleet of light industrial gas turbines on three platforms in the UK sector of the North Sea.
This deal is said to build on an existing agreement between the two companies, which included the North Everest and Lomond platforms. The new contract also covers a third platform, Judy, and entails 24/7 technical support, supply of labor, and provision of spares.
EPS shared that it supported Harbour’s day-to-day operations in several projects over the past five years, which included a range of services, from valve removal and replacement, to supply and upgrade of emergency generator accumulators.
Three months ago, Harbour Energy signed an MSA with EthosEnergy, encompassing maintenance and support activities for a fleet of light industrial gas turbines across three undisclosed production assets in the North Sea.
Furthermore, the company’s Norwegian subsidiary, Harbour Energy Norge, recently made a new gas discovery in the Norwegian sector of the North Sea with an estimated gas volume between one and three million standard cubic meters (Sm3) of recoverable oil equivalent. |
