Work Detail The Government will call a private tender for 68 homes in the northern area. There are 700 houses to be delivered in the Capital and 138 in Tinogasta that are 90% complete and will be completed by the Province due to the cut in national funds. The administrator of the IPV, Alberto Barrionuevo, confirmed that in approximately 45 days, the Government will call a private tender for 68 homes to be built in the north of the Capital. This is a strategy that will allow us to have funds to continue with the construction of housing in the face of the cutback in the Nations funds. Currently, there are 700 homes to be delivered in the Capital that are 90% complete and will be completed with provincial funds. The private tender is an operation that was carried out during the management of the Civic and Social Front with the Parque La Gruta neighborhood. In this case, the base to participate will be $12 million, since they are homes for medium and high-income families, but they must be registered in the IPV. The cost of each of these units is $48 million, meaning that with the basis for entering the tender, 25 or 30% of the total value is paid. The houses are located in the vicinity of the neighborhood with 500 homes. According to the precedent, not only neighbors registered in the Capital participated but also from the Central Valley. Regarding the typology, the official commented that they are typical traditional homes that are built by the Ministry of Housing with all the fundamental infrastructure, with solar hot water tanks and with the environmental requirements demanded by the Nation. They are awarded based on the offers presented and also on compliance with requirements that the organization will publish through the media. Barrionuevo maintained that this mechanism will allow the organization to obtain funds to continue with the construction of houses, in the face of the drop in national funds. Currently, the province has 700 homes in the Capital that are 90% complete and another 138 in Tinogasta. “90% of the works carried out are done with national funds. Unfortunately, since November of last year, the inflow of funds was paralyzed. Now, at this moment, the Governor committed to completing some works that already had significant progress in housing in the Capital and in some interior departments,” said Barrionuevo in statements to the Radio Ancasti program Mañana es hoy. On the other hand, he confirmed that in recent days they began the processes of disawarding homes that were handed over and are not inhabited by their owners. In this sense, one of those homes was removed. It is estimated that there are 60 homes uninhabited by their successful bidders. «We are already working because it was in very bad condition and will be awarded again. «There are also homeowners who rent them to a third party. This is totally prohibited in the contract that the owner signs with the IPV. In those cases, what we ask the community or the tenant is to report to the IPV so that we can proceed," he stated.
