Work Detail |
It is located in facilities of the Argentine Navy, in the so-called Hito 1, in Tierra del Fuego. It consists of 18 solar panels that add up to 9.9 kW of power. It is a collaboration of the Mirgor Foundation, Total Energies, Wintershall Dea and Panamerican Energy.
In the Maritime Traffic Surveillance and Control Post (PVYCTM) Hito 1 detachment, of the Argentine naval force, in Cape Espíritu Santo, a system consisting of 18 photovoltaic panels that total 9.9 kW has been installed for its energization.
The system, the first photovotaic system installed in Tierra del Fuego, is complemented by a battery bank, as well as a mixed system with gas generators.
This is a development by TotalEnergies, together with the Mirgor Foundation, Wintershall Dea and Panamerican Energy, which also includes the installation of two housing modules that serve as shelter for the personnel assigned to the detachment.
The system, made up of panels of 550 W each, will allow the generation of 12,300 kW per year. |
