The works are part of a Master Plan that also includes the installation of home connections.
The Ministry of Infrastructure of the Province, through the Undersecretariat of Water Resources, put out to tender the work: “Sewage drains in the town of Berazategui”, which has a budget of more than 3,500 million pesos.
The works foresee the installation of new sewage networks with the aim of continuing with the Master Plan, which on this occasion proposes joining the network of zones 5A and 5B.
Zone 5A covers the neighborhoods of “Kennedy Norte”, “Kennedy Sur” and part of “El Ciclón” in the town of Hudson, within the Berazategui district. The sector in question is made up of streets 138 to 131 and 57 to 60; streets 131 to 125 and the bank of Arroyo las Conchitas to street 60; streets 125 to 123 and 58 to 60.
Among the planned tasks, the installation of more than 20,000 linear meters of PVC pipes will be carried out, with a total of 2,144 home connections, along with 201 concrete manholes.
Meanwhile, for Zone 5B, which covers the “La Coquita” neighborhoods and part of “El Ciclón”, as well as the “El Mirador” neighborhood in the town of Juan María Gutiérrez. The execution of 18,507 linear meters of pipes and a total of 1,387 home connections is planned.
In this regard, the Undersecretary of Water Resources, Guillermo Jelinski expressed: "A fundamental work for neighborhoods in Hudson and Gutiérrez that Mayor Mussi managed with our governor Axel Kicillof and benefits more than 45 thousand people."
