At the heart of Smart City Kochi’s solar initiatives is the installation of a grid-connected solar plant with a total capacity of 564.46 kWp. This facility comprises two units: one with a capacity of 475 kWp located on the rooftop of the SCK01 building, and another smaller unit of 89.46 kWp positioned on the bike parking roof. The electricity generated by this solar plant is primarily used for powering common areas within the park, including lighting, lifts, pumps, and HVAC units. Over a year, the solar plant produced a significant amount of energy, totaling 713,626 units.
