Through the Ministry of Public Works and under the coordination of Provincial Highways, the repair plan on the AP-01 Provincial Highway continues. The sections cover from Circunvalación Rosario to Aldao, in the jurisdiction of Arocena and Sauce Viejo. In turn, it was confirmed that in the coming months there will be tenders for repaving works.
Regarding the repairs, the Road Administrator, Pablo Seghezzo, commented: “We are giving priority to the works indicated to us by Governor Maximiliano Pullaro and our Minister Lisandro Enrico, responding to the demand of users, and considering the poor condition of the road layout. "We aim to improve walkability for the benefit of the residents who travel along this route that directly connects the two largest cities in the provincial territory."
«We found it in a very deteriorated state, almost abandoned, that is why we have been working on the highway since our first month of management. In addition to works on the asphalt layer, how its maintenance and services will continue is being addressed. In this regard, coordinated work has already been activated for its weeding and we aim to recover its lighting where it does not work", and later the official reported that "we are working on projects to repave more than 80 km during this year in different sections of the highway".
>> More kilometers repaired
According to the planned schedule, 18 kilometers have already been recovered between the different works, and works are currently being carried out in the southern area. It operates on a total segment of 22 kilometers, which goes from the Rosario Beltway to the Aldao toll station.
At the same time, in the northern and central areas of the corridor, critical sectors near Monje and Barrancas have already been improved. Likewise, during recent weeks, arrangements were applied towards the jurisdiction of Arocena, and also in the border area of ??Desvío Arijón and Sauce Viejo, between kilometers 126 and 133.
On the road, the slow traffic lane is mostly intervened and the tasks are based on the superficial and deep milling of the potholes, ridges and deformations present in the road, the recycling of the resulting material and the subsequent finishing with hot asphalt concrete. According to the sector, the works are carried out by the firms Edeca SA, Inar Vial SA and Laromet SA
>> The bridge joints
During the month of March, with the administration of the DPV, the replacement of the 48 Thormack-type elastic joints also began on the two bridges located over the Salado River, access to Santa Fe, kilometer 154 of the corridor.
Of the 48, 24 have already been completed and in these days work has begun on the remaining ones.
In order to avoid delays in traffic, the work is carried out alternately in the directions of traffic and takes place starting at 9 in the morning.
