Central Railways invites bids for the implementation of a Rooftop Grid Solar PV System project with a capacity of 1.2 MWp across various stations and service buildings within the Bhusawal Division.
The project will be executed under a Power Purchase Agreement (PPA) mode, utilizing the Public-Private Partnership (PPP) framework. It will follow the Design, Build, Finance, Operate, and Transfer (DBFOT) basis.
The last date to submit the bids is May 30, 2024, with bid opening scheduled for the same day.
The scope of work includes designing, constructing, financing, operating, maintaining, and transferring roof-mounted solar PV projects at selected railway locations. Additionally, it involves supplying electricity to the Railways through a long-term fixed-rate Power Purchase Agreement (PPA).
Bids will be solicited for the Project based on a fixed tariff for a 25-year duration determined by the Railways. The Project will be granted to the Bidder offering the lowest fixed tariff to the Railways, without any escalation clause, for the entire 25-year period.
The estimated cost of the project is Rs 9.6 crore.
The Bidder must submit an Earnest Money Deposit (EMD) of Rs 19.2 lakhs along with a tender fee of Rs 10,000.
Within the three financial years prior to the Application Due Date, the Applicant must have participated in solar PV grid-connected projects equivalent to at least 35% of the Contracted Capacity, either through payments or receipts. A detailed list of commissioned projects, along with copies of Commissioning certificates and relevant documentation such as Work orders, Contracts, or Agreements from the Client/Owner, must be provided as supporting evidence.
The total contract amount received or paid in Indian Rupees over the last three financial years prior to the application due date, as per ITCC, must be at least 150% of the Estimated Project Cost. |
