The new president of the Los Polígonos Industrial Area, Marcelo Pacini, intends to move forward with all the necessary steps to provide the area located in the north of the city of Santa Fe with the necessary infrastructure that allows the 21 companies that are located to produce normally, while highlighting the municipal and provincial governments for the disposition they have shown towards the sector.
Los Polígonos does not have drinking water or gas and, despite the efforts and announcements, the work that will provide the electrical energy necessary to produce under normal conditions to the companies that are located has not yet begun. In addition, Pacini explains, they need infrastructure works to confront incidents of insecurity, especially robberies within the Area, which include perimeter fencing.
«The new municipal management is very committed to the industry, Los Polígonos and the generation of employment, and they are working accordingly by cleaning garbage dumps and cutting weeds, in addition to participating in the meetings of the board of directors; but we need more lighting on the perimeter to prevent theft. "Now we are installing video surveillance services but it is expensive and we are doing it little by little," he said.

«Access to the park through the Ring Road was going very well with the lighting work that the national government was carrying out but it was interrupted in the same way that all national public works were stopped. The entrance to the Area is also not demarcated, even though there is a school in front that does not have a checkpoint for the bus to stop either,” Pacini said.
Regarding the work of the new electricity distributor, on December 7 of last year, days before handing over control, Governor Perotti signed the decree approving the tender for the construction of the new Los Polígonos 13.2 Kw distributor, which will provide of the necessary electrical power to the Los Polígonos e Interpuertos Industrial Area in the north of the city.
The decree is dated December 4 and awards the firm COCYAR SA for the sum of $987,922,564.21 the execution of the work that consists of laying a 4,900-meter underground cable between the Blas Parera transformer station, 500 more meters of overhead line and connection cells to Los Polígonos.

"In the provincial government, which is also very committed to the productive sector and the industry, they have told us that the work is going to be done, but we understand that it is an important work and we do not escape the context that we are experiencing," says Pacini, who highlighted the participation of provincial officials in the meetings that have been organized.
«My objective will be to build a thriving Area together with all the partners, with companies that can work and create jobs; We all want to grow and progress because it is in our DNA. Today we live in a critical situation and the outlook is uncertain but we continue to invest and bet on the future," said Pacini. |
