Work Detail Tamdi – Lunghi supervised the construction of the new buildings. The community leader highlighted the great importance of the project for the future and the consolidation of culture, education and knowledge in Tandil. Currently, the Falucho Cooperative, the winning company, is advancing with the final work of the project carried out jointly by the Municipality, which provided the property located on the corner of Ezeiza and Suipacha and 30% of the investment, and the Province that takes care of the remaining 70%. When completed, the Conservatory and the IPAT will have their own headquarters. A building designed and built according to the operating needs of these two important institutions that the province has in Tandil. During the tour of the property, Mayor Lunghi assured that "it fills us with joy to see how progress is being made with this important work for the city and that we hope it can be finished in about two months. "We are getting closer to the long-awaited day when the Conservatory and the IPAT will have their own headquarters." At the same time, he recalled that "this project is the result of many years of efforts, the effort and commitment of the entire educational community and the joint work that we were able to agree with the provincial government to provide the best infrastructure conditions." And he highlighted that "beyond the complex economic context that we have in the country, we can continue to advance with the project and we are close to finishing it. This is possible due to the commitment of the Municipality and the Province, which although there is a delay in sending the funds that correspond to it, Governor Kicillof promised to catch up in a short time. «The Conservatory and the IPAT are two institutions that the Province has in Tandil and that is why we always accompany the efforts and requests for our own headquarters and we promote this project that we will be able to achieve through joint efforts, leaving aside differences, seeking consensus and working for the good of all Tandilenses,” he stated. Finally, he stressed that "we have no doubt that this work is a milestone for the city that will have a great impact on this area, and that it will be a fundamental step in the development of Tandils culture, education and knowledge." Currently, the Falucho Cooperative is advancing with the painting and ceiling finishes on the upper floor, and completed all the lighting, the operation of which was shown during the tour. The fire-fighting equipment and installations and all the water pipes were recently tested and the final work is being processed with Camuzzi for the gas network and the energy meters with the Power Plant. The access ramps to the building were also completed and work is underway on the placement of the glass railings and the finishes of the textured exterior coatings that were placed on the entire façade of the building. During the visit it was explained that the connectivity of the entire complex had already been tested, for which the Municipality enabled two provisional connections with a local supplier company. Finally, those responsible for the project indicated that they estimate that by the end of June or beginning of July the building would be finished and could be handed over to the provincial educational authorities to move forward with the installation of the furniture and the moving tasks. At the visit to the complex, Mayor Miguel Lunghi was accompanied by the Chief of Staff, Julio Elichiribehety; the Secretary of Government, Alejandra Marcieri; the Secretary of Planning and Public Works, Luciano Lafosse; the Undersecretary of Culture and Education, Alejo Alguacil; the President of the School Council, Carmen Núñez; the councilors Mario Civalleri, Maride Condino and Andrea Pezzi (UCR), Luján Fiego (La Libertad Avanza) and Federico Martínez, Noelia Domenighini and Nélida Sereno (Unión por la Patria), in addition to the president of the Falucho Cooperative, Ricardo Buquete, who was the person in charge of providing details of the progress of the work. THE PROJECT The construction proposed a complex with two independent two-story buildings, with their respective services and classrooms and administrative offices for each institution. In addition, they will have a shared library and a SUM. The complex is built on a property provided by the Municipality in Ezeiza and Suipacha, and was planned according to the operating needs of both institutions. In a complementary manner to the project, the commune paved Ezeiza Street between Vélez Sarsfield and Suipacha, to complete the concrete roads at all entrances to the complex and completed a gas network extension work to achieve the connection of that service in the building. .
