Work Detail It is assured that it will be the largest of its kind in the country, and will provide energy to the Frigorífico BFC industrial plant, located in the department of Santa Cruz. The meat company BFC, a subsidiary of the Paraguayan company Frigorífico Concepción, has announced the construction of the so-called “BFC-3MW Frigorífico Solar Plant”, presented as the largest private photovoltaic project in Bolivia, to be located in the municipality of San Ignacio de Velasco, department of Santa Cruz. The plant, which will reportedly require an investment of 3 million dollars, will have a total installed power of 3 MW, and will provide energy to the BFC Refrigerator industrial plant. The Banco de Crédito de Bolivia participates in the financial part. The project will have 4,536 solar panels of 670 W each, from the British brand UKSOL, and a 12-year factory warranty in addition to a 30-year useful life.
