Nuclear Power Corporation of India (NPCIL) has invited bids for erection of nuclear reactor systems for Kudankulam Nuclear Power Project Units-5&6 in Tirunelveli district of Tamil Nadu.
The scope of work includes erection of nuclear reactor systems, turbine systems including generator & condenser, sea water systems, polar & trestle cranes and other related systems and equipments along with accessories, piping, supports, metal structures, painting, anti-corrosive coating, insulation and testing in various buildings and structures of KKNPP-5&6.
The value of the contract is Rs 1,138 crore, and is to be carried out in 43 months.
