US-based OSV owner and operator Bordelon Marine has sealed a new charter agreement with compatriot offshore engineering and services firm Oceaneering for the Jones Act-compliant ultra-light intervention vessel (ULIV) Brandon Bordelon.
The Louisiana-based company said the charter had commenced in March this year and will see the 2015-built vessel fixed for an additional two years, with a one-year extension option attached.
“The vessel is ideally suited to support Oceaneering’s light subsea intervention and IMR scopes,” said Wes Bordelon, chief executive and president of Bordelon Marine.
The unit sports two Oceaneering Millennium Plus work-class remotely operated vehicles (ROVs), survey equipment and technology. Financial terms of the deal have not been disclosed. |
