Work Detail |
This is a project developed by the company Ecovatio, presented as the first hybrid photovoltaic park in the country. Ecovatio has inaugurated a hybrid solar park at Indusparquet, the headquarters and logistics center of a multinational company specializing in high-end wood flooring and coverings located in Córdoba, Argentina, presenting it as the first of its kind in the country. This is a hybrid power generation system composed of a photovoltaic plant with a total initial installed power of 53.3 kWp, using 92 Longi 580W panels and 4 state-of-the-art inverters (3 Victron, 15 kW each, and 1 Fronius, 10 kW). The system is complemented by a 60 kW battery storage system, with a distribution network that supplies the entire logistics center. A generator has also been installed as backup. The hybrid system is of the “peak shaving” type, operating based on constant monitoring of electrical demand. A hybrid peak shaving system is a smart solution that integrates renewable generation sources, battery storage, and, in some cases like this one, backup generation to optimally manage electrical energy consumption. Its main objective is to reduce power demand during peak consumption periods, known as peak hours, when grid energy is most expensive. By combining technologies such as solar panels, storage systems, and smart controllers, this system enables more efficient use of available energy resources. Ecovatio, a local company that has been designing sustainable energy solutions since 2017, developed and installed the entire system. |
