Work Detail Luyanda Sithole launches Revolt Clothing in sheer style at the View Boutique Hotel.

Fashion evolves every day and a few years ago it was hard to imagine a masculine style merging with a feminine style and let alone being sexy and yet classic but Revolt Clothing has proven that it can be done and any girl can rock the androgynous style and still be feminine and elegant thanks to the Founder Luyanda Sithole.

Following a successful career in Los Angeles as a Fashion Marketing Specialist, the head of marketing and strategy for the retail consulting group Scaling Retail and also an avid Vlogger, Luyanda Sithole launched her clothing range on 20 August 2016.

Luyanda took an interest in fashion at a young age but followed the musical family route and majored in dance at the National School of Arts. Her experience in marketing as well as music exposure saw her working with the likes of Kelly Rowland, Ciara and well known Hollywood producer The Dream. This pushed her towards creating an exclusive range which is a combination of the androgynous and classic styles for the modern, outgoing and spunky South African young woman whom she jokingly and occasionally refers to as the “bad ass babe”.

The Launch Mixer was held at the beautiful View Boutique Hotel, situated on the hills of Auckland Park. It was a sunny and slightly windy afternoon, just the perfect setting for a Spring and Summer 2017 clothing range launch. Revolt guests were all welcomed with a glass of champagne and a stellar experience of the beautiful view of Joburg on the patio of the Hotel before proceedings for the day began.

The event was star studded as Revolt Clothing hosted the likes of Metro Fm Dj Ntombi Ngcobo, Actress and Presenter Dineo Moeketsi, Ayanda’s Fashion House host Ayanda Nhlapo, Isibaya actress Florence Mokgatsi and Celebrity Stylist Lesego Kgosimolao.

What is a launch event without some razzi or fashion journalists to cover all the hype and capture all glamorous moments? Mzansi Paparazzi, Dstv’s BET Buzz, SABC’s Real Goboza and ANN7’s Business Biz Sense and Drum Magazine were present to capture it all.

Luyanda Sithole has safely cemented her place in the SA Fashion industry. She conquered LA now she is here to conquer South Africa.
