National Thermal Power Corporation Limited Vidyut Vyapar Nigam (NTPC NVVN) has initiated the bidding process to engage engineering, procurement, and construction (EPC) vendors for the development of rooftop and ground-mounted solar systems totalling 20 MW in capacity.
The deadline for bid submission is April 17, 2024, with bid openings scheduled for the same day.
The encompassing scope of work involves various tasks such as design, engineering, supply chain management, transportation, installation, testing, and commissioning of both ground-mounted and rooftop solar projects.
NVVN retains the authority to revoke the enlistment of agencies due to factors like poor performance, project abandonment, delays in completion, bankruptcy, or engagement in activities contrary to NVVN’s interests.
The enlistment period spans one year initially, extendable for an additional year upon review.
Prospective bidders are required to demonstrate prior experience in handling solar power projects, with a cumulative capacity of 400 kW or higher, and at least one project with a capacity exceeding 40 kW operational for a minimum of six months prior to the enlistment deadline.
Furthermore, bidders must showcase their involvement in industrial projects over the past decade, valued at ?4 crore or more, in sectors including power, steel, oil and gas, among others.
These referenced projects should have been operational for at least one year preceding the bid opening date.
Additionally, bidders are mandated to have executed at least one electrical sub-station of 11 kV or above voltage level, operational for a minimum of one year prior to bid submission.
Financial eligibility criteria include an average annual turnover correlated with project capacity and a net worth equivalent to 100% of their paid-up share capital as of the preceding financial year’s end. |
