The Ministry of Railways issues a tender for the procurement of a 1 MW solar power supply system. The scope of work includes design, supply, erection, testing, and commissioning of a grid-connected (HYBRID) rooftop solar PV power supply system, with a minimum capacity of 10 KWp per location.
This includes all necessary accessories such as net metering and DISCOM registration charges, a hybrid inverter capable of both ON grid and OFF grid operations, equipped with a data logger for remote service and data storage.
The deadline to submit online bids is April 15, 2024.
The bidder must submit an Earnest Money Deposit (EMD) of Rs 4.11 lakh.
The tenderer must have successfully completed or substantially finished one of the following types of work(s) during the last 7 years, ending on the last day of the month preceding the tender invitation date:
Three similar works, each with a value not less than 30% of the advertised value of the tender, or
Two similar works, each with a value not less than 40% of the advertised value of the tender, or
One similar work with a value not less than 60% of the advertised value of the tender.The winning bidder must furnish a Performance Guarantee (PG) amounting to 5% of the initial contract value. This guarantee can be provided in either of the following forms: Pay Orders and Demand Drafts issued by any Scheduled Commercial Bank of India or Guarantee Bonds or Deposit Receipts issued by any Scheduled Commercial Bank of India. The value of the PG, to be provided by the contractor, remains fixed based on the original contract value, and will not be altered due to any subsequent variations in the original contract value.The subcontractor must have completed at least one project like the proposed subcontracted work, with a value not less than 35% of the total value of the subcontracted work, within the last 5 years. This requirement concludes at the end of the month prior to the tender invitation date, as per the works contract. |
