The Government of Venado Tuerto launched a new public tender (011/24) with a budget of 24.3 million pesos to advance in the unclogging of storm drains in the city.
The service will be carried out on part of an urban basin belonging to the Centro II neighborhood, delimited by the streets: Miter between Junín and Route 8; Alvear between Lavalle and route 8; Azcuénaga between Maipú and Alvear; Maipú between Azcuénaga and Lisandro de la Torre; May 25 between Junín and Lisandro de la Torre; and Lavalle between Alvear and Miter.
The work (150 hours) includes the unclogging of 1,477 meters of pipes of different diameters, 73 drains and 13 inspection chambers. This is a service that will mitigate episodes of street flooding that can occur during a period of heavy rainfall.
The opening of envelopes was scheduled for Wednesday, April 10 at 10 in the meeting room of the Municipal Palace.
Antecedent
It should be remembered that in November 2023 there was a similar call to unclog a part of the urban basin belonging to Center II, delimited by the streets Hipólito Yrigoyen, Moreno, 25 de Mayo, Azcuénaga, Maipú, Lisandro de la Torre, Chacabuco and 12 de October (urban section of route 8).
With a budget close to 20 million pesos, the work was awarded to the firm Oslo Argentina SA, which in mid-January began the unclogging of 1,109 meters of pipes of different diameters, 33 drains and 10 inspection chambers.
