The Mumbai Metro Rail Corporation (MMRC) has issued invitations for bids to install 2.8 MW of rooftop solar systems and associated support structure works on the Aarey station and depot buildings as part of the Mumbai Metro Line 3 project.
The successful bidder is also required to provide comprehensive operations and maintenance (O&M) services for a duration of 25 years.
The deadline for bid submissions is April 25, 2024, with bids scheduled to be opened the following day.
Bidders must provide a bid security of ?20 lakh.
Applicants should possess experience in installing and commissioning solar power projects, including the completion of grid-connected solar projects totalling at least 3 MW in capacity over the past ten years, with at least one project reaching 750 kW.
Furthermore, bidders must have completed a rooftop solar project of a minimum of 1 MW within the last decade.
Over the past three financial years, bidders should have an annual turnover of at least ?15 crore in total certified payments received for contracts in progress or completed.
Bidders are required to demonstrate that their available funds, after accounting for existing contract obligations, amount to at least ?1.5 crore.
It is stipulated that the predicted electrical degradation of generated power should not exceed 20% of the minimum rated power over the 25-year period, with degradation not exceeding 10% after the initial ten years of full rated original output. |
