The Central de Abastos del Caribe (Granabastos), located in the municipality of Soledad, department of Atlántico, has inaugurated a 1.2 MWp photovoltaic plant for self-consumption.
The plant, made up of more than 1,800 monocrystalline panels of 665 W each, is installed on an area of ??1 hectare. It has an estimated capacity to generate close to 120 thousand kWh per month, enough to cover between 25% and 30% of Granabastos current electricity demand.
The technical configuration of the installation is completed, as specified in a statement, with four 250 kVA inverters, a 1 MW Tesla transformer integrated into a Power Station type system at 13,200 V and connection to the lift cell point using XLPE cabling. .
The facility, a statement states, has monitoring and control systems to supervise its performance in real time. |
