Prime Road Power Public Company Limited (PRIME) has entered into a significant memorandum of understanding (MOU) with Beta Energy Solutions Company Limited, signalling a strategic alliance to propel battery energy storage systems (BESS) application and the exchange of knowledge in renewable energy technologies.
The collaboration aims to enhance energy storage efficiency, ensuring sustainable business operations and inspiring wider adoption of advanced energy solutions.
PRIME’s subsidiaries, holding a 99.99% stake, recently secured 25-year Power Purchase Agreements (PPAs) with the Provincial Electricity Authority (PEA).
These agreements will drive the development of ground-mounted solar power projects with a combined capacity of 15.70 megawatts, complemented by BESS totalling 72.26 megawatts. Contract signings for these projects are anticipated within the current fiscal year.
