It is for the acquisition of spotlights for maintenance of public lighting and electrical systems. The official budget is $149,933,641.00. Four bidders appeared. The initiative is part of the Urban Interventions Program.
On Thursday morning, Mayor Juan Pablo Poletti led the opening of envelopes for a bidding process to solve technical problems in almost 6,000 street lights in the citys neighborhoods. This is an acquisition of electrical materials that will allow the maintenance and refunctionalization of public lighting in the city, with an official investment of $149,933,641.00, within the framework of the Urban Interventions Program.
The opening of envelopes took place in the meeting room of the Municipal Palace and was attended by Mayor Poletti accompanied by the Secretary of Treasury and Finance, José Serruya, and the Secretary of Urban Management and Environment, Guillermo Ferrero. This tender corresponds to No. 8/2024 and aims to acquire important electrical material to restore service and modernize the electrical system in the neighborhoods.
“This is a strong investment that the municipality will make not only to address the complaints of several residents of the city, but also to provide security in the areas where the light was vandalized. “It is the commitment we assume with the people of Santa Fe,” said Juan Pablo Poletti, after opening the envelopes.
On the other hand, Ferrero mentioned that: “this tender allows us to restore the luminaires that are out of operation. We are saying that with all these supplies in terms of cables, contactors, photocells, we will be able to repair between 5,000 and 6,000 lights throughout the city." This investment is added to others that were initiated by the current administration for the replacement of lights on the main avenues of the city of Santa Fe.
